Deadline:  February 1, 2009

No late or incomplete applications will be considered.

Read the qualifications carefully. The Community Foundation of North Central Washington manages scholarships with varying eligibility requirements.  Some are available only to graduating seniors of high schools in Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties and some are available only the college students.  Award size and number of recipients is determined by the selection committee unless otherwise indicated.

Apply for all the scholarships for which you qualify; however, you must submit a separate application and required attachments for each.  A convenient fill-in PDF form is available below.  For each scholarship for which you are applying,

  1. Complete the form

  2. Save the form to your personal computer

  3. Print the completed application

  4. Attach the required documents

  5. Mail to:

Full scholarship brochures and applications are also available as downloadable PDFs at this site or at all high school financial aid offices/career centers/counselors in Chelan, Douglas or Okanogan Counties or other locations as indicated in the scholarship description.

Focus on content. Please focus on and include only what is requested.  Attaching pictures, editorials, or other items not requested is viewed as inattention to detail.  The attachments are removed and are not seen by the selection committee.  No covers, staples or double-sided copies.

What To Include

  5. Transcript.  You are responsible to ensure the Foundation receives your transcript by the February 1st deadline.  The best way to do this is to include it with your application.
